Question: What do you get when you mix Faith with Drive and Determination?
Answer: A compelled urge to spring upward into your destiny.
This combination of spiritually motivated energy; along with encouragement from her Gran-Gran; (Great Grandmother), and a fourth grade teacher named Ms. Jones; is what fueled a little girl who’d lost her mother at age one; to express herself with a pen and paper. At age 9, she would later discover her passion for writing in a poetic form; which stem from her writing “I miss you poems” to her late mother.
Jamie Gray, an Arizona native; born July 4th 1967; at Maricopa County Hospital. Jamie attended Martin Luther King Elementary; Percy L Julian, Jr. High and South Mountain High School. This aspiring Poet initially used her gift to write romantic poems for friends; to their boyfriends and vice versa. Jamie continued writing romantic poetry into her early 20’s. Then she stopped for a while. In her mid 30’s; Jamie gave her life to Christ, therefore changing her poetic style of writing forever.

Father, may I display love with patience; kindness, and truth; which are from You above. To be understanding, and look with the eyes of my heart, which is the true nature of love…. Amen.
